Potential Pathway Features:

bulletWidening of Highway 406/River Road to ACRES for the MRT would allow improvements in drainage, as well as allowing increased safety for motorists as well as cyclists and pedestrians
bulletLower Coast Levee retained as greenspace for continued use by pedestrians and equestrians.
bulletCrushed Limestone or other "environmentally friendly" levee crown topping from ACRES to F. Edward Hebert Blvd. for non-motorized recreational use; levee base for equestrian use.
bulletThe position and type of pathway from Tulane to the Belle Chasse Ferry has not been determined though it is preferred that both types of trail users needs will be met as well as allowing for the continuance of the MRT.
bulletA potential bike/pedestrian pathway along Stanton would provide transportation enhancement for individuals traveling to and from Meadowcrest Park/PAC
bulletA potential pathway along English Turn Parkway would provide recreation, safety, as well as transportation enhancement features and increased public access to Wilderness Park.
